When you become a member, you're not just supporting the arts — you're stepping into a creative community that's been building something remarkable in the Upper Valley for over fifty years. Your membership powers exhibitions by regional artists, hundreds of classes across every medium, and free programs that welcome everyone from toddlers to seniors through our doors.
Membership at AVA also opens doors for you: discounts on classes, invitations to openings and member events, and — through our reciprocal membership in the North American Reciprocal Museum Association — free admission to hundreds of cultural institutions across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and beyond.

Maker/Mentor
$75/Month or $900/Year
Metal, wood, ceramics or something else. Secure access to our beautiful Bente Torjusen West Sculptural Studies Building to make and share the things you love. A safety and skills test is a prerequisite of use. Learn more here. Enjoy all the benefits of full membership including the eligibility to present work in our Bank Street Gallery and join our artist studio wait list, discounts on classes and space rental, and a presence on our website.

Artist/Patron
$20/Month or $240/Year
Artist and Patron members help to build our culture of excitement and support for the arts. Artists and patrons are encouraged to visit AVA during open hours, enjoy use of our galleries, open spaces, and our coworking library and lounge. We invite your ideas for special programming and private events. Artist and Patron members enjoy all the benefits of full membership including the eligibility to present work in our Bank Street Gallery, join our artist studio wait list, discounts on classes and space rental, and a presence on our website.

Friends/Family
$10/Month or $120/Year
Being a Friends and Family member of AVA is a great way to keep your toe in the waters of creativity while supporting our mission. Friends and Family are encouraged to visit our galleries during open hours and receive a discount on classes, invitations to our public events along with early access to private event ticketing.
Friends/Family and are eligible to reserve our private spaces and join our artist studio waitlist.

Starting at $5/Month
AVA Gallery is committed to inclusion, and ensuring that every member gets full value for your dollar. To fulfill this mission we ask those who can to give more, and those who cannot to pay what you can. So, need some flexibility? Set your price or reach out and we’ll talk it through. Tiered ticketing is being introduced across all our programming; look for accessible pricing in the months ahead.
Your membership becomes active the moment you sign up. And that means you can enjoy our services right away along with those our generous partners. *Maker/Mentors, it can take up to a month to get fully up to speed. Learn more here.

All AVA members enjoy a 10 percent discount on custom framing and art supplies at Duke’s in Lebanon and Bean’s in Hanover; on custom framing at the Junction Frame Shop in White River Junction, VT; at Red Roof Frame Shop in West Lebanon; and on closed-toe, all leather boots/shoes at Huberts Family Outfitters. Plus a 10 percent discount on all AVA products and services including merchandise, classes, events, and space rental fees. Discount does not apply to the purchase of artwork.
