SUPPORT AVA

Each year more than 170 generous individuals and over 22 organizations support the work we do. Thank you—and will you join us again this year?

MAKE A GIFT

Every gift to AVA Gallery and Art Center, no matter the size, helps to sustain our 40,000-square-foot creative campus and programs that serves 61 communities across the Upper Valley.

Sustain Access for All

Your support powers exhibitions by regional artists, hundreds of classes across every medium, and free community programs that welcome everyone from toddlers to seniors through our doors.

Fully Tax-deductible

AVA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 23-7394706). All contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law. No goods or services are provided in exchange for your donation.

Where to Give

AVA has several standing funds to which you can direct your giving—our Annual Fund, Facilities Fund (Operating Fund), and our Scholarship Fund. You may designate any of these funds when you make a gift — online or through any charitable giving mechanism.

MAKE A GIFT

Annual Fund

Our most flexible giving allocation, you support the yearly cost of operations when you give to our Annual Fund. These include personnel, administrative, and marketing budget. A robust Annual Fund helps us address unexpected expenses that arise during any given year.

Facility (Operating) Fund

AVA has benefitted from generations of donors who have contributed to the renovation the Carter Kelsey Building and construction of the Bente Torjusen West Sculptural Studies Building. The Facilities Fund ensures that investment is taken care of, year after year — from pavement striping to roof repair,  mechanical systems replacement to fresh paint.

Scholarship Fund

AVA has long taken pride in our ability to provide outstanding creative experiences, regardless of ability to pay. And though we are getting rid of burdensome applications and paperwork hurdles for anyone seeking assistance, we'll use scholarship funds to cover the difference between what it costs to run a class and what each cohort of students — from toddlers to seniors — are able to cover.

You can name AVA Gallery and Art Center as a beneficiary in your will or living trust, designate us as a beneficiary of a retirement account or life insurance policy, make a gift of stock, or direct a charitable IRA rollover or donor-advised fund distribution to AVA. Each of these paths creates a lasting impact on art, education, and community in the Upper Valley.

The Bank Street Society

When you include AVA in your plans, you join the Bank Street Society — a group of people who share the conviction that creative community is worth sustaining far into the future. If you've already made provisions for AVA in your estate plan, we'd love to know.
