A Place Visited Only in Dreams brings together 33 artists who are each interested in exploring the shifting terrain of the subconscious, where logic dissolves, and imagination reigns. Rooted in the legacy of Surrealism, this exhibition is composed of works that construct alternate realities — worlds shaped by dream imagery, memory fragments, intuition, and the irrational. Here, narratives unfold beyond the boundaries of waking life, where objects may float, figures transform, scale collapses, and time behaves unpredictably.
Surrealism has long offered a visual language for expressing what cannot be spoken directly: desire, fear, wonder, longing, and the strange poetry of the mind at rest. In this exhibition, we are drawn to artworks that embrace unexpected juxtapositions, uncanny atmospheres, and illogical pairings that provoke both unease and fascination. Whether playful or haunting, meditative or disruptive, these works invite viewers to step into spaces that feel familiar yet impossible —
places visited only in dreams.
