About this Studio

AVA’s ceramics studio in the Sculptural Studies Building offers a dynamic, hands-on environment for working in clay. Designed to support both new and experienced artists, the space includes a wide range of tools and equipment (see list below) for handbuilding, wheel throwing, and surface decoration. With dedicated areas for forming, glazing, and kiln firing, the studio provides a complete workflow from start to finish. Ventilation systems and clearly organized workspaces help ensure a safe, efficient, and comfortable studio experience.
