Location

A Very Merry Winter Market will be held at 11 Bank Street, Lebanon, NH 03766, in the Elizabeth Rowland Mayor and E.N. Wennberg galleries on Saturday, December 5. Setup runs 9:00AM to 11:00AM; the market is open 11:00AM to 4:00PM; breakdown finishes by 5:00PM. Please stay through closing. An early pack-up is hard on your neighbors and on shoppers. Please plan to join us for the opening reception of the AVA Members’ Holiday Exhibition from 5:00–7:00PM in the Main Galleries.

Your work

You'll sell the handmade goods described in your application. New product lines are welcome with a quick heads-up to us first. You set your own prices, handle your own sales*, and are responsible for any taxes, permits, or licenses that apply to your business.

* If you are a vendor with wall space, all sales transactions after December 5 will be handled by AVA through our point of sale system. Please ensure that your work is priced correctly. AVA will charge a 30 percent commission fee on your work. Payments for net sales will be mailed to you on the 15th and 29 of December. Itemized sales are available upon request.

Fees and cancellations

The booth fees are as follows:

  •  $50 for a 6’ table; one per vendor please.
  • $75 for a 6’ table and 6’ x 8’ wall area.

Vendor fees are due within 72 hours of confirmation. If you cancel by November 21, we'll refund 50 percent. After that, fees are non-refundable, since we may not be able to fill your space. If AVA cancels the market, you'll receive a full refund.

Your belongings and safety

You're responsible for your own merchandise, displays, cash, and equipment. AVA will keep the building secure during the market but can't cover loss, theft, or damage to vendor property. Please set up safely: keep walkways clear, tape down cords, and use only the electrical access we provide. Ask a volunteer or member of staff if you need assistance.

Liability

You take part at your own risk. You agree not to hold AVA, its staff, board, or volunteers responsible for injury, loss, or damage connected with your participation, except where caused by AVA's own negligence. You also agree to take responsibility for any claims arising from your products or your booth. If you carry your own liability insurance, great; it is encouraged but not required.

Community

AVA is a welcoming space for all. We ask every vendor to treat shoppers, fellow makers, staff, and volunteers with respect. We may ask a vendor to leave for conduct that makes the market unsafe or unwelcoming, without refund.

Photos

We'll use photos that you upload to Art Galleria and photos we take at the market to promote AVA and future events. Your work and your booth may appear in them, and we'll credit you wherever we can. If you'd rather not be photographed, just let us know.
