Nature and Monotype

Ages 9-12

Monday - Friday, 1:00 - 4:00pm

Monotype is a printmaking process that combines spontaneous mark-making and painterly gestures to produce one-of-a-kind results. Participants in this session will work in AVA's "Green" Printshop, printing a variety of images made from objects found in the natural world. Once the first prints have been created, participants will be encouraged to respond to the marks they've made, further developing the images beyond the original intention.
