The Wonder of Horses

Ages 5-8
July 12 - 16
Monday - Friday, 1:00 - 4:00pm

From the caves of Lascaux to the deserts of Arabia, from Mount Olympus to the Green Mountains of Vermont, horses have captured the imagination of people throughout the world. Inspired by the mythology, poetry, music, and movement of horses, we will paint and sculpt from a variety of media and materials. We will also consider the anatomy and spirit of the horse as rendered by other painters and sculptors. During one class session, we hope to visit a real horse farm.
