Picture Framing for the Artist

Just in time for AVA's 18th Annual Juried Exhibition, participating artists will learn proper framing techniques, including matting, glazing, hinging, and building frames, all with an eye towards creating frames that are easy to reuse. Come with a favorite work on paper (11" x 14" or smaller), or a work on canvas or panel (16" x 20" or smaller). Each artist will take home a framed piece of work. Upon enrollment, please indicate the medium and size of the work you plan to frame in class.
