Transform your photographs into etchings! With this new, environmentally friendly archival process, you can learn to make modern photogravure prints. We will first make plates from your original images or digital files, exposing the specially coated polymer on metal to UV light. The subsequent washing of each plate makes it ready to accept ink for the printmaking process done on AVA's Charles Brand etching press. Experimental post-production treatments will also be demonstrated.
