Approaches to representation of the land and landscape have been radically influenced in recent years by digital technology and an awareness of environmental concerns. Participants will begin this session by bringing their digital landscape photography into AVA's Digital Arts Media Lab, where a process for altering and reworking the source imagery will be developed. Once completed, artists will bring their newly formed imagery into the painting studio to render it in paint, bringing their work to yet another level.
