Art Lab Exhibition at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center

In the summer of 2009, twenty Art Lab students displayed 38 artworks at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Art Lab (a.k.a. The Incredible Creative Workshop), a program for young adults with special needs, is taught on Wednesdays and Thursdays at AVA by faculty member Murray Ngoima and by Sylvia Dow, parent of two members of the group. The exhibition, on view through August 2009 in the Hematology/Oncology Hallway on Level 3 and in the Main Rotunda on Level 5, was made possible by a collaboration between DHMC's Exhibition Program, the Special Needs Support Center, and AVA.
