This workshop is designed to assist high school students interested in pursuing art studies at the college level prepare a portfolio for the admissions process at either a liberal arts college or an art school. A student’s portfolio is an important factor in the admissions decision and can also help win scholarships. This workshop will cover: the crucial importance of the portfolio; examples of successful student artwork; documentation of the portfolio; and a review of the individual participant’s artwork being considered for inclusion in their portfolio.
