Students will draw a series of landscapes, using an oil pastel resist, to explore the color changes that take place morning to night and summer to winter. We will conclude each class by working in watercolor or tempera to paint the “color of light” at various times of the day or season. Students will experience the excitement of color as they watch their pictures change with the introduction of a second medium!
