What IS “green sculpture?” Is it made of grass? Does it come from the Emerald City? Do you know the legend of the Green Man? As AVA approaches its first spring in a “green building,” we will make sculpture responding to these questions and more. We will think carefully about the materials we choose: where they come from, what they are composed of, and how, as part of a sculpture, they will draw attention to environmental concerns. Students are invited to contribute a supply of ideas — and perhaps a supply of materials as well!
