Graffiti and graffiti culture is more than just a stylistic fad – it is a global phenomenon. In this class, we will investigate the two main strategies for producing graffiti: bombing and stenciling. We will watch a documentary video, have music playing, and exchange ideas through discussions about artists like Banksy (www.banksy.co.uk), Shepard Fairy (www.obeygiant.com), and Doze Green (www.dozegreen.com).
