Some materials will be available, but students are also encouraged to bring works in progress.
The Friday Teen Studio is intended to provide space, time, materials, and technical support for middle and high school students to develop personal ideas in their media of choice. Consultation on portfolio development will be offered, in addition to instruction in the following, depending upon student interest: collage, assemblage, paper sculpture, printmaking, costume construction, puppet-making, as well as drawing and painting. As the group coheres, there may be occasion for critique and lively discussion.
