These two camps (with A Float for a Parade II), to be held off-site at Antoinette Jacobson’s barn on Bragg Hill in Norwich, VT, may be taken together as a full-day program or as separate camps, in either morning or afternoon sessions.
A float is a kind of mobile stage set, a miniature rolling puppet show. We will design and build a float that celebrates AVA. This float will appear at parades and fairs throughout the summer, representing AVA (Alliance for the Visual Arts). Come with ideas and be prepared to construct and paint. AVA students and members will be able to participate in any and all parades we can float in. Let’s have some fun!
