Beauty is what we make of it. This digital photography class will focus on industrial ruins, decayed barns, and machinery as we create textured compositions from what many may consider junk. By looking at the work of photographers like Penn, Siskind, Evans, and Abbott, you will learn how to make exciting pictures from the overlooked corners of our world. This class will utilize Photoshop and the printer in AVA’s new Digital Arts Media Lab.
